That’s not always true, so the IRS urges taxpayers to check and adjust their withholding now, using this estimating tool on IRS.gov. Another myth: There are secret ways to find out when your tax refund will arrive, including: by calling the IRS; calling a tax professional; or ordering your transcripts.
